Bitmunk SearchFrom DBWiki
[edit] SearchingYou can use either the simple search or the advanced search.
[edit] Search TermsFor example, if you want to search for files performed by The Beatles, you enter the term 'The Beatles' or just 'Beatles' in the search box and click on the search button. A list of matches will be returned to you. They may be albums, individual songs, music videos, books or other items for sale on Bitmunk. You can also make your search more specific by mentioning a song name or album name. For example: 'Beatles White Album' would find references to the White Album by The Beatles. Once you have found what you were looking for, you can click on the List Sellers link to see who is selling the creative work and for what price. If you do not immediately see the result you wanted, you may need to check through the multiple pages of search results. The default number of matches per page is set to 10, however you can change this option by using the advanced search. [edit] Result PagesBelow the search results you will see a bar and a list of numbers. The bar gives you a visualization of which results you are looking at out of the total.
The page display shows your current page in red, and up to 4 pages to either side of your current page. If you wish to go to the beginning or end of the search, you can simply click the First or Last links to either side of the page list. [edit] ExampleLets look at an example:
If you were to click on the '4' to go to page 4, you would see the following:
[edit] Petitioning a WorkMany works that have been registered on Bitmunk have not yet been cleared for sale by their owner. For these works you may instead Petition a creative work - this lets the artist know that you want to buy the work online. We will contact the artist directly when the number of people that have petitioned the work are high enough. The more people that petition a work, the more chances there are that the artist will want to make their work available for sale on Bitmunk. |
