Bitmunk Watermarking

From DBWiki

We don't like Digital Rights Management - it destroys your fair use rights. However, it is the artist's decision to DRM their files, just like it is your decision to buy DRMed or non-DRMed songs. You have the choice to only buy non-DRM music from Bitmunk.

None of the files on Bitmunk prevent you from playing them on any device of your choice. Anything that prevents you from doing what you want with something that you own is wrong. This does not mean that we support stealing or pirating. We use a technique called watermarking and steganography for all the files traded through Bitmunk. This protects both you and the artist while allowing you to do anything that you want, within reason, with the file you buy from the network.
