Corrupted Transactions

From DBWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

If a seller attempts to sell a corrupted file to you, you will get a free download of the file that you wanted and the seller will be penalized.

Nobody sells or buys anything on the network anonymously, which means that they can be held accountable for their actions. If somebody tries to rip you off, you can file a complaint against them. In most cases, the seller will refund your money if you can prove that the file you got from them was corrupted in some way. If things get really nasty, and you can prove that they sold you a corrupted file (which is easy, thats why we watermark the files - so you can prove that you bought it from them), we can fine the seller and take away their selling privileges on Bitmunk or even ban them from the network. You are guaranteed to get the file you wanted, free of any problems.
