Cryptography is the practice of taking readable information, scrambling it (encryption), and then being able to descramble it (decryption) at a later date.
After the information is encrypted, it is impossible to decipher without first decrypting it. When the decryption phase is over, the information should be completely readable again.
The person that performs the encryption will let only the person that should be able to decrypt the data know the proper way to perform the decryption. This process ensures that communication between two people will only be readable by the sender and the receiver. All communication on Bitmunk is encrypted to protect the privacy of both parties that are communicating.
