On Bitmunk, when you associate media info with a digital file it is called a digital work.

An example of a digital file is an MP3 file.

An example of media info is the song "Holiday by the band Green Day".

If you associate the media info "Holiday by Green Day" with the MP3 digital file, you create a digital work that is "An MP3 of the song Holiday by the band Green Day".

This association provides a description for the contents of a digital file. The media info identifies the content that is found in the digital file. Once a digital file has been associated with media info, then you will be able to sell it on Bitmunk if it has been cleared for sale by the copyright owner.
