The fee that Bitmunk charges for managing the transaction is greater for exclusive distribution rights because it counter-acts the entire purpose of Bitmunk; to involve everybody in the distribution process. Giving your customers the ability to take part in helping the artist and you distribute the digital work is what Bitmunk is about.
Bitmunk is about community building and exclusive distribution is the anti-thesis of that notion.
